Rob started boating and water skiing when he was nineteen in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) which inspired a career in the marine industry, initially in South Africa, then in Hong Kong and finally, Sydney.  

RHJ Marine Trimming comes off the back of being a boating person for many years. When it got to the stage of needing to replace the clears on our Riviera Fly Bridge, a trimmer friend suggested that I should replace the clears myself. With his help. I did the cutting and he did the sewing.  That led to buying an industrial sewing machine and the fun began. “Can you do this for me?” “Can you do that for me?” Soon, all the mates wanted jobs done.

Frustration to improve lead to a few years at TAFE in Sydney’s Ultimo doing their Motor and Marine Trimming course. Now, six years later and full time, the photo gallery will give a small idea of what RHJ Marine Trimming does. 

The ethos of RHJ Marine Trimming is to bring years of boating experience into play and to make each job work for its owner.
